There is no beginning, as there is no end is a new solo commission by Richard Maguire, marking the first edition of Time + Space, Collective Gallery’s new early-career artist programme. Primarily working in drawing and sculpture, Maguire's practice considers British and South Asian histories, interrogating power relations and representations of race and sexuality. Referring to archives and material culture, Maguire explores how historical systems of oppression recur within the present.

Time + Space is supported by Creative Scotland’s Multi-Year Funding Programme.
