Quiet Sessions – Collective PLAY Weekend: Vibrations

Families and children with Autism or sensory learning disabilities were invited to book in for a quiet slot if required.

23 Apr 2022

10—11am & 4—5pm

This page is an archived booking page for Quiet Sessions during our Collective PLAY Weekend: Vibrations.

Visitor numbers will be limited during these time and extra staff available to assist.

The Play Weekend will be spread out across the site taking place outdoors, although there is a sheltered area under the play shelter and an indoor space available in the Hillside Gallery.

The kinds of activities families can expect include loose parts play with water, funnels and pipes and hydroponic play (play with water, vibrations and sound).

Steps lead up the Hill from Waterloo Place and Royal Terrace. If you continue along Waterloo Place you will find the access road where there are no steps and you can take a buggie up, please bear in mind this road is steep. You can also drive up this road for drop offs, and there is metered parking on Waterloo Place.

You may find it helpful to look at this video which shows the route from the entrance to the play shelter. Staff will be at the entrance to greet and guide you.

Blue badge holder parking is available on site, and photos of our accessible toilet are available here.

If you would like to any more information please contact Tonya [email protected].

These slots should be booked in advance via Eventbrite here.
