This is an archived entry from 2020.
2020 has been a tough year but we’re still celebrating the festive season on Calton Hill. If travel restrictions allow we’d love you to join us for our Festive Fix long weekend 17-20 December.
Alongside our new exhibition by artist Holly McLean (pre-booking here), families can enjoy ‘Robin’s Riddles’, our new festive trail that will have to exploring the site looking for clues (no need to book). Our friends at the Lookout by Gardener’s Cottage have a delicious seasonal menu, winter flavour grazing trays and bento boxes for wee ones, as well as a range of larder ingredients on sale from the restaurant.
Meanwhile outdoors, our takeaway Kiosk will be selling warming treats like mulled apple juice and spiced hot chocolate with marshmallows and chestnuts to nourish you after a walk around Collective and Calton Hill. On Saturday 19th the Lookout will be firing up their BBQ for hot festive fayre outdoors.
10% discount on everything in Collective Matter, our onsite shop, over the Festive Fix long weekend along with a free gift-wrapping. Choose from special gifts and editions made by artists and makers in Scotland and our collection of ethically-sourced products all lovingly chosen by our team. If you can’t make it to Collective you can still shop our range online here, including some new stocking fillers – last order/posting date before Christmas is 17 December.
