Join Lithuanian curator and researcher Adomas Narkevičius (Rupert Centre for Art and Education, Vilnius) for an informal lecture. Desire in Whispers will focus on specific moments of 20th Century Lithuanian art to highlight the tension between the complex history of Lithuania, where desire was repressed on societal and personal levels, and the prevalence of sensual artmaking practices.

This lecture is presented as part of Lithuanian Days in Scotland, a series of cultural events organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania.

Adomas Narkevičius (b. 1992, Vilnius) is a Lithuanian curator and researcher who currently is based between London and Vilnius.
