Observers’ Walks are a series of audio guides commissioned by Collective and created by artists to be listened to on Calton Hill. Beginning in 2014 with Memorialmania by Ruth Ewan and Astrid Johnson, there are now six Walks to choose from and more to come in 2020.

We recently re-launched Observers’ Walks on our website with new, improved maps, showing suggested stopping points and walk routes. The Walks are now all accessible from one main page, making it easier for visitors to download them on to their own phones and explore Collective and Calton Hill on foot.
