Work has begun on Collective's revival of Observatory House, Edinburgh’s unique hilltop retreat. Perched on Calton Hill, overlooking the city, the house dates back to the 18th century and was once home to resident astronomers. Working with Collective Architecture and Cornhill Building Services, we have begun restoration work to combine the listed architecture with a stylish and contemporary finish, incorporating new commissions from artists close to our hearts.
Observatory House will be available to rent later in 2021 for 10 guests, or as two separate apartments each sleeping 4. Income from the House will directly support Collective's charitable mission.
