Janice Parker and Emmie McLuskey have worked together since 2016. Janice is an independent choreographer and dance maker based in Edinburgh. Since their time exploring Parker’s personal collection of objects and artefacts titled 1973, they have produced work that engages with questions of archiving and performance. This 'in conversation' event will see the pair discuss Emmie's new exhibition, these were the things that made the step familiar and its relationship to choreography.

The exhibition includes a series of large format digital prints, sculpture and sound work by Emmie McLuskey, poetry by Millicent A. A. Graham and a new publication, A Strange American Funeral, edited with Freya Field-Donovan.
