Join us for a weekend of free, socially distanced, outdoor play and creative musical activities for families and under 12s.
Sound artist Joe Howe has designed an interactive musical instrument fusing together recycled materials with amplification and invites you to bring to life this extraordinary creation using contact mics, percussion mallets, sticks and drum brushes. Joe and his Jazz fusion supergroup Banana Oil will perform on screen providing inspiration for you to make instruments from cardboard, tape, balloons and dried peas! Play your own invented musical creations against the backdrop of panoramic views of an autumnal Edinburgh.
Collective PLAY: Percussion is free, donations welcome, but booking a timed entry slot via Eventbrite is required.
*** To allow as many families as possible to enjoy this limited capacity event, please book tickets for one day/time slot only ***
