About our rebrand

You might have noticed some changes in our website and across our Calton Hill site.

For the past few months, we’ve been working with local design studio The Touch Agency on a new identity, one that more clearly communicates who we are and what we do today.

Drawing on our archive of 40 years of exhibitions, Touch have revisited a red used in many of our early materials, and paired this with a modern and playful font, to create our new Collective Gallery identity.

We also worked with Touch to develop a website shaped around accessibility and ease of use for our audiences. In the coming weeks, our archive of exhibition content, events, videos, walks and more will be available for everyone to explore.

We are thrilled to have received funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver our new website. Thank you to National Lottery players for helping us make our work more accessible to all.

About the National Lottery Heritage Fund

Our vision is for heritage to be valued, cared for and sustained for everyone, now and in the future. That’s why as the largest funder for the UK’s heritage we are dedicated to supporting projects that connect people and communities to heritage, as set out in our strategic plan, Heritage 2033. Heritage can be anything from the past that people value and want to pass on to future generations. We believe in the power of heritage to ignite the imagination, offer joy and inspiration, and to build pride in place and connection to the past.

Over the next 10 years, we aim to invest £3.6billion raised for good causes by National Lottery players to make a decisive difference for people, places and communities.
